Façade Engineer

Description:

As a Façade Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, engineering, and documentation of façade systems, ensuring technical excellence and quality in all project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
 

• Design & Specialist Input:
  • Undertake façade structural design and analysis using relevant codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
  • Utilise computer-assisted engineering and design software for simulations and preparing engineering design documents.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges, providing specialist input to ensure project quality.
     

• Project Management:
  • Liaise with Team Leaders or Project Leaders on technical aspects of projects.
     

• Coordination & Collaboration:
  • Work closely with architects and other designers to ensure safe designs that align with project aesthetics and concepts.
  • Coordinate with different consultants to integrate engineering systems optimally.
     

• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed design reports at concept and sketch design stages. A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Assist in project implementation, including site and factory inspections, quality audits, and report preparation.
     

• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of your own work and the work of others.
  • Author non-standard letters, reports, and other documentation as required.
     

• Client & Team Representation:
  • Represent the team and discipline at external meetings, demonstrating professional expertise.
  • Handle routine contract administration efficiently.
