In this exciting role, you’ll have the chance to lead all operational aspects of the centre, from overseeing facility management and ensuring health & safety compliance, to liaising with tenants and internal teams to drive an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facility and contractor management across hard and soft services.
- Liaise regularly with tenants, resolving operational queries and ensuring smooth communication.
- Manage and oversee the service charge budget, ensuring all costs are controlled effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and procedures.
- Lead and manage capital expenditure (CAP-EX) projects, contributing to the centre’s ongoing development.
- Play a proactive role in improving customer experience for visitors and tenants.
Requirements:
- Proven operational experience in facilities management with hands-on contractor management skills.
- Strong customer service background, ideally within a retail environment such as a shopping centre or commercial property.
- IOSH qualification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Solid experience in budget management and working with service charge budgets.
- Confident decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
