Field Sales Executive

Description:

PayPoint is seeking a motivated and professional Field Sales Executive to join their Retail Services Field Team, covering the North Wales region including The Wirral and Birkenhead. The ideal candidate will provide installation, training, and outstanding early-life support to new retailers, while also driving product penetration by proactively selling PayPoint solutions to existing businesses.

This is a customer-facing, territory-based role that requires a mix of sales expertise, technical know-how, and exceptional customer service. You will be expected to plan your routes using CRM tools, set SMART goals for each visit, and develop strong working relationships with retailers to grow their business and engagement with PayPoint products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and train new retailers on PayPoint systems and deliver high-quality post-installation support.

• Sell additional PayPoint services and products into existing accounts within your defined territory.

• Use CRM to plan and prioritise daily visits based on business opportunity or direction from the line manager.

• Prepare for each visit with well-defined objectives and follow-up actions.

• Ensure contracts and ID documentation are correctly completed in line with company policies.

• Demonstrate high standards in appearance, conduct, and professionalism.

• Represent PayPoint values and consistently strive to exceed retailer expectations, including encouraging positive Trustpilot reviews.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of all PayPoint products, especially EPOS systems.

• Participate in team meetings and field accompaniment days.

• Respond to all leads and opportunities within defined SLA timeframes.

• Flexibility to travel across the North Wales region and adapt to short-notice changes.

• Excellent communication and multitasking ability.

• IT literate, especially in using CRM platforms.

• Self-starter with a customer-first mindset.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation:

• Base Salary: £29,750 per annum (£2479 per month)

• Car Allowance: £4,000 per annum (£333 per month)

• On Target Earnings (OTE): £40,000 per annum (£3333 per month) including commission
