Toast is on a mission to empower the restaurant industry by delivering an all-in-one digital platform that enables restaurants to thrive. As a Field Sales Executive, you'll be part of a team transforming how restaurants operate in York and Harrogate. Using a consultative, relationship-driven approach, you will identify opportunities, deliver tailored demos, and sign new restaurants to the Toast platform.

This role requires a self-motivated sales professional with experience in prospecting, closing, and account growth. You’ll be responsible for managing the entire sales process—from lead generation to onboarding—in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid position, with approximately 60% of time spent in the field and 40% working from home. It offers uncapped commission potential and equity, along with Toast’s industry-leading benefits and a culture of diversity and inclusion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect local restaurant businesses, building your own client pipeline.

  • Lead the full sales cycle: initiate outreach, conduct product demos, tailor solutions, and close deals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from sales to onboarding.

  • Use Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline, track interactions, and forecast activity.

  • Stay informed about competitors and continuously adapt the sales strategy to market needs.

  • Deliver high-quality client engagement that positions Toast as a key business partner for restaurants.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales or business development role (experience in the restaurant industry is a plus).

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to engage decision-makers at all levels.

  • Confident working independently in the field and within a team-driven culture.

  • Reliable transportation required (mileage reimbursed).

  • Familiarity with software solutions and general tech proficiency.

  • Salesforce CRM experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • OTE: £95,000–£105,000, including uncapped commissions and base salary.
