The role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:
- Being responsible for performing planned or emergency service calls to customer sites (refineries) primarily in the UK and EU.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting/repairing mechanical, electrical, or process problems related to AAS.
- Analysing data generated by AAS to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or process problems related to AAS.
- Performing start-up, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of new AAS.
- Train refinery operators AAS functionality.
- Performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) on PLC based control systems manufactured by JM vendors, at vendor location sites.
Key skills/qualifications that will help you succeed in this role:
- Mechanical or E&I engineering or vocational qualification plus relevant experience. - Essential
- Experience working with and troubleshooting PLC based control systems, including uploading and downloading project files. Essential
- Experience reading and understanding electrical schematics and process P&IDs - Essential
- Experience with various processes such as pressure control, flow control - Essential
- Experience and working knowledge of ATEX standards - Essential.
- Experience with risk assessment, safe systems of work, management of change – Desirable
