Field Service Engineer

Description:

As a Field Service Engineer at Carrier, you are responsible for completing warranty and chargeable repairs/breakdowns plus service activities.

You will start and finish your working day from your home location while travelling to customer sites across your assigned geographical area. You will have a high level of autonomy, using your technical expertise to diagnose issues, resolve problems, and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at every opportunity.

What will the key responsibilities be?

• Completing warranty, chargeable repairs/breakdowns and service visits in the postcode areas SL, GU, KT, TW, CR.
• Diagnose technical issues and coordinate effective solutions to ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate problem resolution, customer service and other personnel to expedite repairs
• Maintain records of performance reports
• Delivering best in class customer service on-site in residential properties
   

Requirements
 

• ACS qualified gas engineer (CCN1 and CENWAT mandatory)
• Demonstrable technical experience gained within the HVAC, heating, or related industry
• Have a high attention to detail
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Have a confident and adaptable work style
• Have excellent communication skills
• Ability to work closely with and develop relationships with clients
• Valid UK driving licence
• Desirable - Heat Pump experience & F-Gas certification
