Field Service Lead

 

Description:

New Appointments Group is seeking a Field Service Lead to provide in-field technical support, ensuring fast and effective resolution of issues related to eCompressor systems. This position involves a high level of customer interaction, troubleshooting, and working closely with OEMs, service centers, and internal teams to improve service delivery in the growing vehicle electrification sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Investigate and diagnose issues with eCompressor systems, conducting on-site inspections and repairs to minimize downtime.
Customer & Service Network Support: Work with OEMs and service centers to ensure timely solutions, offering technical guidance and training.
Issue Tracking & Coordination: Maintain records of in-field issues, warranty claims, and service activities to ensure efficient resolution.
Process Improvement & Compliance: Contribute to developing service procedures and ensure compliance with industry best practices and quality standards.
Collaboration & Feedback: Provide customer feedback to engineering and product teams to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

🎓 HNC/HND or equivalent in a technical field (electrical/mechanical focus beneficial).
🎯 Experience in field service supporting electro-mechanical systems.
🎯 Strong problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
🎯 Process-driven, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

🎓 Background in automotive supply chains, vehicle mechanics, or quality processes (8D, APQP, PPAP).
🎯 Experience in vehicle mechanics, electronics, or compressor systems.
