Field Support Engineer

Description:

We’re supporting a growing UK-based organisation that acquires and integrates smaller businesses and is looking to strengthen its hands-on technical integration capability.

This role is field-based in nature, working closely with newly acquired sites to support the on-the-ground integration of IT systems, data, and processes into a wider group environment.

You’ll play a key role during and after acquisition, acting as the technical bridge between existing teams, third-party suppliers, and central IT.

The Role

• Provide on-site technical support during business integrations
• Carry out technical due diligence on incoming systems and environments
• Support system, data, and documentation migrations
• Identify integration risks and help implement practical solutions
• Liaise with external IT providers to manage handovers and service transitions
• Support users post-integration to ensure systems are stable and usable

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on IT support or integration experience
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and environments
• Experience with data, systems, or infrastructure migrations
• Confident communicator with non-technical stakeholders
• Exposure to regulated or professional services environments is beneficial
