Finance Analyst

 

Description:

As Finance Analyst you will have a wide range of responsibilities, acting as a key support to the finance manager as well as provide business partnering support to multiple stakeholders within E&M. You will be an integral part of the E&M finance team. You will be responsible for the month end journals, balance sheets and forecasts and budgets within your remit. You will also provide commercial Business partnering services including business case evaluation, contract negation support and other adhoc financial modelling and analysis.

You will also be involved in developing new innovative reporting solutions to analyse and evaluate data, thinking outside the box to provide new insights to stakeholders. You will also be involved in several exciting projects where we look to work closer as one E&M finance team across Europe. This will provide you with the opportunity to add value, drive forward change and setup new processes, as well as develop your knowledge and experience across all European operations.

ABOUT THE JOB

As Finance Analyst – Supply Chain you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the delivery of month end, forecasting, budgeting, cashflow, tracking risks and opportunities and cost savings.
  • Help to develop an E&M finance reporting suite that will provide key insights across the department and in particular the senior leadership team and E&M director.
  • Lead the reporting agenda by driving forward change and innovation. Embedding new solutions and software for better data visualization, interpretation to aid strategy and decision making.
  • Support the finance transformation activities across all regions to ensure a consistent approach and efficient ways of working. You will collaborate across all regions, build relationships and exposure to all Tui airlines across Europe.
  • Provide financial support to business partners. Providing detailed monthly reports and analysis to help track and understand the cost base against forecast. Evaluate key trends and KPIs to help ensure the business meet their long term strategic goals.
  • You will support the business with delivering the profit initiative targets by turning data into insight and support the business to make fact based decisions through commercial financial analysis and supporting business cases.
  • Support specific adhoc project activities
