Description:
The information you provide will be key to informing commercial decision making, and includes traditional management accounts but also cost initiative and investment trackers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing relationships with internal business partners across both the Finance and Commercial teams
- Delivering a combination of regular and ad-hoc information
- Ensuring the integrity of balance sheet reconciliations managed within the role - highlighting any risks/opportunities in a timely manner and owning any associated resolution plans
- Assisting with ongoing and future transition of processes from London to our Business Support Center in Manchester
- Preparing and submitting of operating cost variance commentary
- Work effectively as part of the wider finance team, influencing better and more informed decision making across all cost areas
- Develop a continuous improvement culture within the team to ensure that the service is being delivered in the most effective way, putting the customer at the heart of everything the team delivers
Key Skills
- A strong accounting background with previous experience of working in a fast paced environment – studying towards an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
- Commercial awareness and communication skills
- Ability to resolve complex issues
- Exceptional business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Ability to work to agreed timeframes and effectively prioritise workload with a flexible and proactive approach
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
