Description:
- Being a highly motivated self-starter with experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You will pro-actively manage your own workload and responsibilities to deliver effective outcomes.
- Collaborating with others, both within the team and across HMRC at a variety of grades, influencing stakeholders to obtain updates and reviewing and challenging information where appropriate.
- Being an effective verbal and written communicator, tailoring your communications to fit the audience and being able to construct succinct and clear papers.
- Taking pride in your work and seek to continually improve team processes.
The role will involve some travel with occasional overnight stays.
The successful candidate is expected to remain in post, whilst in the same grade, for a minimum of two years.
Essential criteria:
- An ability to communicate using appropriate styles, to maximise understanding and impact.
- Experience of operating flexibly and working at pace, planning and prioritising to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent writing skills, including high attention to detail.
- Experience of developing close working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and also have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working collaboratively across grades and business areas.
- A data background with some experience in GDPR and risk analysis.
- Experience of working in a geographically dispersed team.

Team members that are moving offices as a result of the Locations Programme will be entitled to a Moves Adjustment Payment for three years where they incur additional costs. This is calculated based on the difference between the costs of travelling to and from the new and old office, over a weekly period.
