Leadenhall Search & Selection is proud to partner with a prestigious US-based law firm that is currently expanding its London finance practice. We are seeking a high-caliber Finance Lawyer with 3–6 years PQE, ideally with aviation finance experience, to join their globally recognized team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aviation Finance:
  Lead or support transactions involving aircraft sale and leasebacks, secured financing, operating and finance leases, and trading/supply contracts.

• General Banking & Finance:
  Advise clients on secured and unsecured lending, LMA-standard documentation, and a range of syndicated and bilateral financing structures.

• Structured & Real Estate Finance:
  Participate in complex, high-value transactions including Islamic finance, asset-backed securities, and real estate investment financing.

• Restructuring & Insolvency:
  Work on distressed asset recovery, workouts, and cross-border insolvency matters in collaboration with global teams.

• Client Engagement:
  Represent a wide range of stakeholders including lenders, borrowers, collateral managers, investors, rating agencies, and private equity firms.

• Cross-Border Deal Execution:
  Handle multi-jurisdictional deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation with a focus on execution excellence and regulatory compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor (UK or Common Law jurisdiction) with 3–6 years of PQE

• Aviation finance experience is strongly preferred

• Solid grounding in banking, structured, or asset finance transactions

• Excellent command over legal documentation and negotiation processes

• Commercially aware, client-focused, and collaborative in approach

• Ability to handle complex transactions with high attention to detail and responsiveness
