As the organization expands, BOM is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and contribute to strategic planning during this critical growth phase. The role also includes managing a Finance Assistant and collaborating with the team on financial performance and commercial development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the Finance Assistant for daily finance operations, payroll, VAT, and monthly reporting using Xero.
  • Collaborate with external accountants for year-end accounts and audits in compliance with charity guidelines.
  • Monitor and control automated payments via approved methods.
  • Create and maintain strategic budget forecasts and financial planning.
  • Brief teams on financial targets and performance metrics to align organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance through regular internal financial audits and risk management.
  • Oversee financial aspects of capital projects, including CapEx, grants, VAT liabilities, and cash flow across a group structure.
  • Ensure compliance with financial obligations such as loans, grant reporting, and subsidy law.
  • Support the development of commercial plans for immersive products and services.
  • Contribute to strategic funding applications through financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Review and enhance existing financial processes to improve efficiency.
  • Handle other finance-related tasks as required.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experienced finance professional with a strong accounting track record.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute financial forecasts.
  • Skilled at managing financial compliance and conducting internal audits.
  • Proficient in Xero software and experienced in working with external accountants.
  • Capable of overseeing capital project finances and contributing to commercial planning.
