We are recruiting a talented Finance Manager to lead a high-performing finance team based in central Leeds. This role focuses on leadership, coaching, and process improvement, ensuring best practices and financial control across the organisation.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of seven finance professionals, fostering a culture of empowerment and collaboration.
  • Oversee financial controls, ensuring compliance and efficiency while driving continuous process improvement.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial reporting, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to maintain high financial standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development processes within the finance team.

 

Person Specification

  • Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience coaching and mentoring finance professionals.
  • Skilled in financial reporting, process optimisation, and implementing effective financial controls.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement.
