Finance Manager

Description:

Konstrukt is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Manager to take ownership of the company’s internal financial operations. This pivotal role will provide crucial support to the business by ensuring accurate and efficient management of financial processes. The Finance Manager will work closely with various teams and external partners to maintain financial integrity and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice & Payment Management: Oversee the preparation and management of client invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Cash Flow & Reconciliations: Maintain rolling cash flow forecasts to support business planning. Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, VAT, and payroll to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

• Credit Control: Monitor aged debtors, manage overdue payments effectively, and escalate any payment issues promptly to maintain healthy cash flow.

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive internal financial reports for management, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and internal financial controls.

• External Coordination & Process Improvement: Collaborate with external accountants to support audits and year-end processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For:

• Finance Operations Experience: A proven track record in finance, ideally within recruitment, staffing, or professional services environments.

• Technical Proficiency: Confident user of Xero or similar accounting software; proficient in Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.

• Attention to Detail & Discretion: Exceptionally organised with the ability to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.

• Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Clear and effective communicator with a proactive approach to resolving financial issues and streamlining processes.
