Finance Manager

Description:

Lusona Consultancy has an excellent opportunity to join a leading Scottish business within this commercially focussed Finance Manager role on a 9 months contract basis. This role has the possibility to be made a permanent position thereafter. Offering an all-encompassing finance role, the position includes aspects of commercial and operational finance, overseeing a small finance team.

Main responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Preparing the P&L with corresponding variance analysis
• Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Overseeing the balance sheet and reconciliation process
• Maintaining the cashflow forecast
• Maintaining the purchase ledger
• Processing payroll and associated HMRC compliance.
• The main point of contact for external stakeholders such as auditors and HMRC etc.
• Supporting with HR administration
• Driving process improvement across the finance function and how this combines with other areas of the business.
• Control and approval of commercial pricing and tender reviews
• Operational duties from monthly volume forecasting to monitoring costings and supporting with capex.
• Presenting to the senior management team
