COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Group Accountant to join a dynamic, international, and fast-expanding company within the hospitality and retail sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who is eager to contribute to a business that values innovation, teamwork, and career progression. Experience in hospitality, retail, or property industries will be advantageous but not essential.

The role requires active involvement in financial and treasury operations, supporting the organization through its growth phase. You will work closely with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective financial control, and compliance with relevant company laws and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in daily cash management activities, including bank monitoring, payment runs, and cash flow forecasting.

• Supporting treasury operations, including liaising with banks, managing debt and investment administration, and maintaining bank records.

• Contributing to the preparation of statutory accounts and financial reports while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

• Assisting in internal and external audits related to treasury and financial reporting.

• Maintaining detailed treasury transaction records to uphold strong internal controls.

• Staying updated with changes in company law and applying them under guidance from senior staff.

• Supporting process improvements, system upgrades, and documentation in finance and treasury functions.

• Collaborating with the finance team and providing responses to auditors, banks, and business unit queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and basic analytical skills.

• Practical exposure to cashflow, treasury, or finance operations.

• Knowledge of company law and compliance, with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.

• Proficiency in Excel and financial software; experience in treasury management systems is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Progress toward a recognized professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is desirable.
