About the role

You will work as part of the Finance Administrators team who are responsible for the fee collection and income management of student tuition and accommodation fees and departmental income ensuring timely collection of fees owed.

You will be required to provide comprehensive and high-quality financial administration and to be highly customer focussed with the ability to give sound advice and guidance to all individuals and organisations and use your own judgement and expertise to resolve issues that are more complex.

To provide supervision of the two Assistant Finance Administrators by allocating responsibilities to individual team members and monitoring staff performance against agreed objectives. You will also be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Finance Administrators in the Income Management sub team.

You will be required to assist the management team of the Student Fees and Income Management and contribute to projects and work that enhances the delivery of the office.

About you

Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, or with relevant work experience in a comparable setting, we are looking for an individual able to interpret relevant policies and procedures whilst maintaining delivery of excellent customer service. This will include effective multi-tasking and prioritising of a bust workload. Experience within credit control and debt recovery, and previous supervisory responsibilities are also essential.
