Finance Team Lead

Description:

• Ensuring that reconciliations are completed in a timely manner, including locally and offshore
• Analysing items of the balance sheet and dealing with any queries accordingly
• Collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the accounting processes
• Becoming the expert user for the Blackline reconciliation tool
• Reviewing Quantum reconciliations and collaborating with any appropriate project related work
• Preparing and communicating key management information required across the business
• Collaborating with local and global stakeholders, including I.T to continually improve processes and procedures

Applicants should have previous team management or supervisory experience, ideally within a large corporate, across areas such as banking reconciliations, treasury, accounts payable, credit control or general finance. Applicants should be able to work towards often conflicting deadlines and have a continuous eye for detail. Previous experience of the Blackline reconciliation tool would be desirable. Additionally, whilst Quantum experience is rare, it would be expected that applicants are confident in the use of a similar finance system.
