Financial Accountant

This position will be working closely alongside the Financial Director making it a perfect opportunity for a first-time mover to develop in a forward-thinking firm. The role is offering a salary between £40,000-£45,000 DOE + bonus and benefits and the successful individuals responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts for financial reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts& weekly cash flow forecasts
• Assisting with special accounting projects when required
• Ensure the timely completion of the monthly close processes with complete and accurate recording of all transactions
• Continually reviewing processes for ongoing improvement in the workflows related to the close process, looking to improve the efficiency of reporting processes
• Submission of VAT returns
• Assisting with the year end audit
