Description:
Harmonic is excited to work exclusively with a rapidly growing, multi-award-winning Creative Agency based in London. The agency, with a current turnover of around £15 million and ambitious plans to grow 30% in 2025, is looking for a Financial Controller to act as a central figure in the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of the company, working closely with the founders and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist the CFO with strategic projects and provide financial input to key business decisions.
- Financial Systems & Reporting:
- Manage financial systems, policies, and processes for internal planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis to highlight trends for non-financial personnel.
- Oversee month-end accounts and ensure timely and accurate statutory submissions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Collaborate with client teams and senior management to prepare financial budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure Weekly Revenue Forecasts are accurate.
- Client & Internal Reporting:
- Contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting packs provided to clients.
- Participate in monthly commercial reviews with the Client Service team.
- Cash Flow & Process Oversight:
- Oversee AP/AR processes in coordination with client teams to generate strong cash flows.
- Manage the outsourced payroll provider to ensure payroll submissions are accurate and within budget.
- Ad Hoc Projects:
- Engage in various ad hoc financial projects as required.
