Financial Modeller

Description:

Our client, a PE backed business operating within the consumer space, are looking for an experienced FP&A professional with extensive financial modelling experience to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large complex business in this time of growth. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of senior stakeholders throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a Group-wide financial model from scratch, consolidating diverse business unit models and assumptions.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and finance teams across different business units to understand their financial drivers and growth assumptions.
• Ensure the model is suitable for both internal sensitivity analysis and external distribution to prospective buyers.
• Contribute to the broader FP&A agenda and collaborate with central and business unit FP&A teams.

Qualifications:

• Chartered accountant (ACA) or CFA qualified with at least 5 years post graduate experience
• Experience in building complex financial models and working with cross-functional finance teams.
• Experience within a group FP&A function is desirable
• Strong understanding of financial statements and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
