The role

Working with a wide range of stakeholders and governance groups you will own the development and updating of the FRs. This will include communication and co-ordination of related training initiatives. It will see you researching leading practices in other organisations and working with the extended finance community to agree new structures.

As the go-to person for advice or interpretation of FRs your expertise will be pivotal to the Finance Community, supporting individuals within the Finance Division, as well as those in university institutions, subsidiaries and trusts.

Your skills

A qualified accountant: your strong foundation in financial principles and experience in regular accounting, including financial rules and controls will be invaluable in this role.
An influential advisor: demonstrate your ability to provide financial advice to both leaders and non-financial staff, leveraging your exceptional communication skills to build effective networks.
A master multitasker: with an attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities to manage heavy workloads while delivering to tight deadlines.
Information guru: synthesise complex information into user-friendly guidance.
