Description:

ServiceNow is seeking a Solution Consulting leader for its Financial Services team to lead presales capability and strategy. This strategic leadership role sets the agenda for demonstration capability and execution by inspiring and managing a team of Presales Solution Consultants. The ideal manager creates a repeatable process, driving results and outcomes across multiple areas including customer engagement, proofs of concept, team development, and collaboration with regional sales managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure SCs demonstrate relevance to customers, discover business and technical problems, deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations, execute proofs of concept, and document business value.

  • Develop team members according to business demands and individual professional goals.

  • Maintain a recruiting pipeline of potential SC candidates for future business needs.

  • Work with regional sales managers to prioritize Solution Consulting efforts.

  • Assign resources to sales opportunities and evaluate progress against goals.

  • Support marketing and demand generation efforts as needed.

  • Develop and deploy team training curriculums.

  • Evaluate team members via observation, peer feedback, and sales feedback.

  • Ensure proper resource alignment and effective utilization of skill sets.

  • Manage day-to-day activities including resource scheduling, expense approval, and activity reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving.

  • Strong pre-sales experience as an individual contributor and leader, preferably at ServiceNow.

  • At least 4 years senior SC leadership experience; 2nd line management experience is a differentiator.

  • Deep presales experience in Financial Services and Banking markets; ability to engage senior management.

  • Thought leadership in software storytelling methods and techniques.

  • Ability to coach early-career and senior contributors.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow sales and engagement processes and business value.

  • Ability to articulate the power and value of the ServiceNow platform.

  • Experience in fast-growing IT environments including software, cloud, or customer experience.

  • Understanding of standard coaching, mentoring, and management approaches.

  • Deep experience in Value Based Selling or Solution Selling.

  • Thorough understanding of SaaS market space, PaaS solutions, and service management practices.

  • Ability to gain trust quickly and lead through influence across complex sales ecosystems.
