CCH GROUP, a leader in fire door and passive fire protection works with FIRAS third-party accreditation, is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Door Joiner for a full-time, hybrid role based in Preston, Lancashire, with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and wants to be part of a close-knit, professional, and supportive team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire-rated doors across commercial and residential sites throughout the North West of England. Your work will be crucial in ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and regulations, and your expertise will be integral to upholding the company’s commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair fire-rated doors to strict quality and safety standards.

• Ensure all work adheres to current fire safety regulations and is certification-compliant.

• Conduct site surveys and produce condition reports on fire doors.

• Maintain accurate records for compliance and certification purposes.

• Work across various sites independently and collaboratively with the team.

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).

• Demonstrated experience in installing and maintaining fire doors.

• Strong knowledge of fire door regulations, standards, and certification processes.

• High attention to detail, strong time management, and solid communication skills.

• Must have a full UK driving licence and own tools.

• Able to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
