We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading suppliers of gourmet foods and ingredients as a Foodservice National Account Manager. This company has earned a stellar reputation in the industry, winning multiple awards for both their products and supplier excellence. With nationwide coverage and a strong presence across the foodservice market, they work closely with national restaurant chains, hotels, contract caterers, and travel sector clients.

The product range is impressive, including both branded and private label premium chocolates, pastries, and ingredients. This role has become available following an internal promotion, offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to step into a key national sales position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of end-user customers, including national hotel and restaurant chains, contract caterers, and businesses in the leisure and travel sectors.
  • Key accounts include Sodexo, Aramark, Baxter Storey, Hilton, Marriott, Accor, Stonegate, P&O, and Emirates, among others.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the foodservice channel, expanding the company’s customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring outstanding service and effective account management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development, to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor sales performance, report on key metrics, and drive growth through strategic sales planning and targeted initiatives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's premium product range and enhancing its reputation within the industry.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in foodservice account management, ideally within branded or private label food or drink products.
  • Strong understanding of Foodservice End User customers and the dynamics of the foodservice supply chain.
  • Passion for premium food products, with the ability to communicate product value effectively to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, combined with a commercial mindset and results-driven approach.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, able to manage a large portfolio of accounts while also driving new business development.
  • Ability to work independently from home while staying engaged with head office teams in London.

Location & Working Setup:

  • Home-based, ideally located in South East England.
  • Regular travel to customers and company head office in London required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: £50000 to £55000 per year (Monthly: £4167 to £4583) — Negotiable based on experience.
  • Bonus: Paid quarterly.
