Front End Developer

Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their Engineering team to help deliver a key digital roadmap. This role is part of a major global digital transformation, including building a Single Digital Platform with a focus on Salesforce, .NET, Azure services, and React frontend applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing customer-facing applications and portals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop externally facing portal capabilities for customers to interact online

• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, UX designers, and InfoSec teams

• Contribute to team ceremonies and planning sessions

• Write unit tests, integration tests using tools like Playwright, and automate pipelines

• Support delivery objectives, life cycle management, and technical debt reduction

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience building customer-facing React apps, ideally authenticated and secured

• Ability to own and manage portals in production, diagnosing and fixing issues

• Proven experience with deployment pipelines

• Experience writing and automating tests

• Ability to build and maintain APIs for React apps is desirable, but can be learned on the job

Tech Stack:

• UI: Typescript, React.JS, Redux, rxjs, webpack

• API: .NET, REST, Minimal APIs, Azure Function Apps

• Platforms: Azure, Azure DevOps Pipelines

• Testing: Jasmine, vitest, Playwright
