Description:
As a UX Developer you will provide the technical skills to design and validate effective solutions in the context of the Atradius application ecosystem.
You’ll work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts who are providing business requirements while you are in charge of logical and functional solution designs - in close co-operation with our Engineers.
The Systems Application Analyst plays a key role ensuring that functional and technical objectives are understood, business requirements are translated into effective designs and ITS implications are identified, quantified and ready for development in a clear and unambiguous way. In this position your key responsibilities will be:
- Understand the function and processes of the Atradius organisation and pro-actively advise on effective solutions by growing the application Asset.
- Drive Continuous Improvement of Assets, Processes and Team performance.
- Design and document effective functional solutions that meet requirements and create value for business.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software functions and initiatives to support and enhance our existing systems.
- Interrogate existing system implementations to gain an understanding of how they work (so as to be able to describe incremental-change solutions) to support the Business analysis phase
- Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
- Undertake Impact analysis (including a detailed investigation at code-level) where appropriate
- Ensure that systems are consistent with each other and with existing/proposed Atradius architecture.
- Participate in knowledge proliferation within the team and across the systems analysis discipline.
What qualification should you have?
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
- 5+ years of professional experience as System Application Analyst, IT Analyst.
- Good understanding of the UX/UI development lifecycle (Agile methodology) and ideally a DevOps ways of working.
- Comprehensive experience in designing and documenting Applications.
- Comfortable with various common methodologies to specify relevant aspects of designs.
- Have a drive for automation.
- Good understanding of Cloud frameworks like Azure/AWS.
- Basic knowledge of relevant legacy programming tools and languages like Oracle DB, PL/SQL, SQL, SOA/XML, Oracle Forms are a benefit. (not essential)
- Right to work in the EU and the UK.
- Readiness to be on call outside office hours within a roster.
- The successful applicant will be required to travel (mainly between the Unit’s locations) for short periods of time, as and when the need arises.
- Most work can be done remote. Applicant should be prepared to work 1 d/w in one of our offices.
- Fluency to a high degree in English is required, but additional language skills (in particular Spanish) will also be valuable.
