Frontend Developer

Searchability® is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer for an exciting contract opportunity with a London-based tech company. This is a fully remote role open exclusively to UK-based professionals, and it falls outside IR35. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in front-end development using Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, with a focus on building clean, scalable applications in a modern development environment.

This role involves collaborating closely with the internal engineering team to develop high-performance UI components. The developer will also work with headless CMS systems (such as Prismic) and must be proficient in unit testing and ensuring strong test coverage. The client seeks someone who can start immediately and contribute effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative remote setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize front-end UI components using Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript

• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders for project delivery

• Write clean, testable, and scalable code with high attention to detail

• Ensure code quality through unit testing and good Git practices

• Leverage Prismic or similar headless CMS for content-driven applications

• Work in a remote-first environment with a strong communication culture

Technical Requirements:

• Vue.js (Strong experience required)

• Tailwind CSS (Advanced knowledge)

• TypeScript (Proficient)

• Unit Testing (Mandatory)

• Prismic or other headless CMS (Nice to have)

• Familiarity with Git, PRs, and code reviews

Contract Details:

• Duration: 3-month initial contract (with high potential for extension)
