Full Stack Engineer

A purpose-driven scale-up focused on building digital infrastructure for the UK's clean transport future is hiring a Full Stack Engineer (Python) to join their high-impact, collaborative team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of features across the stack—from backend API development to frontend interfaces and infrastructure deployment. The work you do will directly contribute to the UK's journey toward sustainable, clean transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python with FastAPI.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to build intuitive, efficient front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript.

• Manage deployments and infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Terraform.

• Take full ownership of product features throughout their lifecycle—from development and testing to deployment and optimization.

• Work closely within a fast-paced, mission-led product team focused on building tools that have real-world environmental impact.

Tech Stack:

• Backend: Python (FastAPI)

• Frontend: React + TypeScript

• Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Terraform

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience working across the full stack in a commercial environment.

• Confidence in writing clean, efficient Python code and designing robust APIs.

• Comfort with modern frontend development using React and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, Terraform).

• A self-starting attitude and the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.

Additional Details:

• Salary: Up to £90,000 depending on experience

• Bonus: 15% annual performance bonus

• Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite in Central London)
