Fundraiser Lead

Think Tenacity Academy CIC is seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraiser Lead (Events Team) to join their mission-driven organization. In this key leadership role, you will design and implement innovative fundraising strategies to support the organization’s mission of providing free mental health therapy and raising awareness of Black mental health issues across the UK.

You will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to drive income generation through events, partnerships, grants, and donations — ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of Think Tenacity’s vital programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and purpose-driven fundraiser who thrives in a small, collaborative, and impact-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the fundraising strategy in collaboration with the CEO and Board of Trustees to achieve financial sustainability.

• Drive income generation through donations, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and grant applications.

• Design and execute fundraising events, workshops, and campaigns to support Think Tenacity’s free therapy programs and community outreach.

• Contribute to budget setting, income forecasting, and performance tracking against KPIs.

• Research and identify new funding opportunities, building long-term relationships with donors and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the events and communications teams to produce engaging materials, case studies, and donor engagement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising data using CRM systems to monitor and enhance fundraising performance.

• Provide regular updates to the leadership team on fundraising progress and opportunities for expansion.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Demonstrated success in fundraising strategy, income generation, and donor engagement.

• Strong financial literacy with the ability to work confidently with budgets and income targets.

• A proactive mindset with excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.

• Passionate about addressing health inequalities and committed to breaking the stigma surrounding Black mental health.

• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience researching and applying for trusts and foundation grants.

• Familiarity with CRM systems for donor management and fundraising analytics.

• Background in event fundraising and corporate partnership development.
