Description:

All Souls Serve the City (ASSTC), a charitable incorporated organization (CIO) under the umbrella of All Souls Church, is seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join their team in London. This pivotal role involves shaping the strategic direction of the organization’s fundraising efforts, sustaining essential income streams, and expanding future funding opportunities to support diverse and impactful community-based ministries.

ASSTC currently operates several vital community projects including:

  • ASLAN: Support for the homeless and vulnerably housed.

  • Children and Families Ministry: Promoting child and family welfare at their affiliated Church of England school.

  • Senior Care: Befriending and community support for the elderly.

  • Tamar: A volunteer-led initiative providing support to individuals affected by the sex industry.

As Fundraising Manager, you will lead the organization's development strategy, ensuring financial sustainability and enabling ministry expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy focused on individual giving and grant funding.

  • Support ministry heads to understand and engage in project-specific fundraising.

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with donors, grant-makers, and community supporters.

  • Expand income streams through major donor cultivation, legacy giving, and diversified grants.

  • Manage donor records and stewardship processes using Donorfy CRM.

  • Ensure fundraising activities comply with relevant legal and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Fundraising or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong track record in individual and community fundraising, with demonstrable success in donor cultivation and grant writing.

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience writing compelling fundraising appeals and grant applications.

  • Effective project management and administrative skills, ideally within the charity sector.

  • Personal commitment to the evangelical Christian mission and alignment with the Evangelical Alliance’s statement of faith.

  • Must be a practicing Christian (per Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010).
