Funds Associate

An elite US law firm in London is seeking a highly capable Funds Associate to join its top-tier Funds practice, known for advising some of the most prominent players in the investment and asset management space. This is a prestigious opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a keen interest and experience in investment fund formation, regulation, and fund-related transactions.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, intellectually rigorous team that provides legal services in structuring, establishing, and marketing credit funds, private equity, real assets, and infrastructure vehicles (including REITs). You will also be advising on asset management regulation and related transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on the structuring and establishment of investment funds

• Assist in fund marketing and regulatory compliance, particularly in credit, private equity, and real estate/infrastructure sectors

• Advise clients on transactional and regulatory aspects of asset management

• Work closely with clients across global markets and collaborate with leading legal professionals

Candidate Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years’ Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in investment funds law

• Prior exposure to credit funds, real estate/infrastructure funds (including REITs), and private equity

• Excellent academic credentials and training at a leading City or international law firm

• Strong communication and analytical skills with a commercial mindset

• Must be legally qualified to practice in the UK
