Funds Lawyer

Our client, a leading global asset manager, is looking for a Funds Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across Private Markets and Public Investments, supporting a growing institutional and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) client base.

The successful candidate will be at the forefront of fund structuring, regulatory projects, and fund launches across multiple jurisdictions, including Luxembourg and the US. Key Responsibilities:

✅ Fund Structuring & Launches:

• Lead the structuring of fund vehicles, including AIFs, Part II UCIs, and RAIFs.
• Oversee fund launches in key jurisdictions such as Luxembourg and the US.

✅ Legal Documentation & Negotiation:

• Draft and amend term sheets, Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), and institutional fund documents (e.g., side letters and LPAs).
• Negotiate distribution agreements with both institutional and HNWI clients.

✅ Regulatory & Compliance Projects:

• Play a key role in implementing regulatory projects across multiple investment structures.
• Stay updated on legal and compliance requirements affecting fund operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

✔ Strong background in European private/alternative funds fundraising.
✔ Experience in private practice or within a relevant investment management organization.
✔ Excellent knowledge of fund structures, regulatory compliance, and financial documentation.
✔ Ability to negotiate complex agreements and provide strategic legal insights.
✔ Highly ambitious and tenacious, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
