Are you an experienced Funeral Director looking for a new challenge where you can inspire and mentor the next generation of funeral care professionals? Connect2Care is seeking a Funeral Trainer to guide and support apprentices in their learning journey, ensuring they gain the essential skills and confidence to excel in the funeral care sector.
This role allows you to stay connected to the funeral care industry, while enjoying the flexibility of remote working and travelling to meet apprentices in the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support apprentices in funeral care settings, helping them develop skills and confidence.
- Create personalised learning plans tailored to each apprentice’s needs.
- Demonstrate the importance of functional skills like maths and English in funeral care.
- Build strong relationships with employers and provide regular updates on apprentices’ progress.
- Manage administrative tasks efficiently using Google Suite and other systems.
- Travel approximately 3 days a week to meet apprentices, with the remaining time spent working from home.
What You Need to Bring:
- Experience as a Funeral Director, with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Confidence with technology and strong organisational skills.
- A Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English & Maths (or willingness to achieve this).
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across the region.
