The Gas Turbine Fitter will be responsible for the hands-on repair, overhaul, and assembly of gas turbines, power turbines, and associated equipment. Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you will maintain the highest standards of engineering quality, safety, and documentation, directly contributing to Sulzer’s reputation as a trusted partner for turbine solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strip, inspect, sub-assemble, and rebuild turbine components with precision.

• Record and report critical measurements, ensuring non-conformances are flagged accurately.

• Maintain clean and organized workstations, ensuring safe storage of tools and chemicals.

• Complete build documentation to required standards and submit for review.

• Support training and development of apprentices, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

• Log working hours in company systems and assist with non-conformance reporting.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous hands-on experience in a workshop or engineering role.

• Knowledge of gas turbine repair and refurbishment (highly advantageous).

• Background in fabrication, repair, or construction industries.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Team player with an adaptable and proactive approach.
