General Foreman

Description:

As the General Foreman, you will be an integral member of the Site team. Ideally you will have experience within civils and/or highways infrastructure projects.

The project consists of constructing a 550-metre-long road, with a 250-metre viaduct set to be built over the Great Stour River, the river’s flood plain, and the railway line from Canterbury to Ramsgate. The viaduct will be supported by a 5-span structure, with the longest span distance being 56 metres apart.

About You
 

• Experience working on similar Highways projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Proven technical and project management abilities
• Strong organisational and management skills
• Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
• Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
• Sufficient experience required in construction.
• 5 years’ experience in delivery of Projects within an infrastructure environment
• CITB SMTS or equivalent
• CSCS
