The intern will support and strategize ways to attract, engage, and retain 10,000+ high-quality attendees worldwide ranging from C-suite insurance executives to AI-driven tech disruptors and sustainability advocates.
3. Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Prospecting
- Conduct in-depth research into target groups (climate-risk specialists, insurtech founders, regulatory bodies, academic institutions).
- Identify new regions, associations, or communities where LIW can expand its global reach.
- Analyze attendee personas to craft compelling messaging.
Engagement Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design multi-channel attendee acquisition campaigns (email, social media, partner marketing, influencer outreach).
- Assist in producing visual and written content (blog articles, micro-videos, LinkedIn posts) emphasizing LIW’s sustainability and tech angles.
- Brainstorm innovative ways to integrate virtual engagement for remote attendees, from digital meetups to immersive platform experiences.
Stakeholder & Partnership Collaboration
- Liaise with industry associations, universities, think tanks, and tech incubators to build alliances that drive attendee registrations.
- Coordinate co-marketing agreements or cross-promotional deals with existing LIW sponsors and exhibitors focusing on net-zero or advanced tech.
Event Experience Enhancement
- Propose and help execute attendee networking concepts (roundtables, speed networking, mentorship tracks).
- Investigate tools for personalized attendee journeys (AI-driven matchmaking, real-time feedback loops).
- Support the sustainability lead in designing eco-friendly ways for participants to experience the event (reduced travel, carbon offsets, digital materials).
Analytics & Reporting
- Track registration metrics, funnel conversions, and engagement results using CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Prepare weekly or monthly progress reports for internal teams, highlighting successes, challenges, and data-driven recommendations.
- Post-event, assist in drafting the Attendee Engagement Impact Report, spotlighting achievements, ROI, and lessons for future LIW conferences.

Candidate Profile
Educational Background:
