Description:
Ramboll is currently seeking a Global Practice Area Lead – Biocides to spearhead its strategic biocidal services and market leadership across multiple geographies. This senior-level position involves a balance of high-level strategy, hands-on business development, and global coordination in the realm of regulatory consulting for biocidal products.
As a leading figure within the Health Sciences division, you will be entrusted with shaping and implementing the biocides business strategy, leading regulatory project delivery, cultivating global client relationships, and driving sustainable innovation across Ramboll’s operations. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with deep expertise in biocidal product stewardship, adept at navigating complex regulatory landscapes, and driven to contribute to sustainable, responsible innovation.
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
Develop and execute global business strategies for biocidal services.
Identify new opportunities for sustainable revenue growth across regions.
Collaborate with the Health Sciences Leadership Team to align global objectives and KPIs.
Promote Ramboll’s presence in global forums and elevate its brand in regulatory and sustainability circles.
Business Development:
Act as a “seller-doer,” securing new business while guiding delivery teams.
Lead high-value proposals, client pitches, and key account expansion efforts.
Track market dynamics, develop marketing materials, and respond proactively to client needs.
Operational Excellence & Coordination:
Create frameworks to support resource sharing and technical synergies between global teams.
Mentor and support team members to elevate work quality and delivery standards.
Facilitate training and knowledge sharing through cross-border forums.
Leadership & Team Building:
Drive recruitment efforts to build capacity and capability in the biocides field.
Lead innovation within the service area including digital tools and methodologies.
Ensure performance, compliance, and sustainability objectives are met throughout global operations.
Essential:
Degree in a science-related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacology).
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in biocides regulatory affairs.
Proven ability to lead large, cross-regional teams and projects.
Demonstrated success in developing and winning new business globally.
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
Experience working across multiple countries with a multicultural team.
Thought leadership presence (e.g., publications, conference presentations).
