Description:
Costa Coffee, a global coffee brand under the Coca-Cola System, is looking for a Global Marketing Manager Sustainability to lead its sustainability communications. As part of the global brand team, you will play a key role in defining and communicating Costa's sustainability strategy under the new brand positioning. This role also involves ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations and governance requirements set by Costa and Coca-Cola.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the brand coordination lead for sustainability and ESG-related activities.
- Develop and maintain a library of consumer and B2B-facing assets for sustainability communication across digital and traditional media channels.
- Manage agency relationships and allocate internal budgets to regional/commercial P&L.
- Coordinate sustainability-related content and approvals with regional marketing, legal teams, and regulatory authorities.
- Integrate sustainability communication strategies into brand campaigns and align with annual and long-term business plans.
- Develop sustainability playbooks for different channels and thematic focuses to support commercial and customer opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Coca-Cola’s sustainability governance and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation and approval of regulatory and voluntary disclosures while maintaining brand standards.
- Oversee stakeholder approvals for sustainability disclosures, external marketing materials, website updates, and media communications.
- Collaborate with the Costa Foundation and Community Team to create consumer-facing sustainability narratives and communication strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong experience in sustainability marketing and communications.
- Prior experience in Sustainability Communications within Retail, Food & Beverage, or QSR industries.
- A solid understanding of compliance requirements and governance frameworks in sustainability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt strategies when needed.
- Confidence and resilience to take ownership of a new role and shape its direction.
