Gpu Memory System Design Architect

Description:

We are currently partnered with a world-leading Semiconductor company in the UK working at the cutting edge of next-generation GPU technologies. The team is looking to expand its GPU Hardware team with a GPU Memory System Design Architect.

Key Responsibilities for this GPU Memory System Design Architect position:

• Take overall responsibility for architecting the memory system found in our client's GPUs
• Explore the design space and document ideas/provide estimates of throughput, performance, energy consumption area, and bandwidth for proposed changes.
• Work closely with memory system design and verification engineers to deliver new memory systems.
• Work collaboratively with the wider GPU team including, but not limited to, project leads, the implementation team, modeling team, and software/firmware teams.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record designing memory systems/memory system components for use in multicore GPU or CPU systems.
• Extensive technical expereince in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Extensive knowledge, and ability to discuss at length, of scalable memory systems, cache coherency, and address translation.
