Description:
Role Responsibilities
· Conduct ecological surveys and assessments, including habitat and species surveys.
· Assist in the preparation of ecological reports, impact assessments, and mitigation plans.
· Participate in fieldwork, data collection, and analysis.
· Support senior ecologists in project management and client liaison.
· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
· Stay up-to-date with current ecological research and methodologies.
· Additional administration duties, analysis, reporting and projects as required
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
· Knowledge of local flora and fauna and a keen interest in botany
· Proficiency in using GIS and other relevant software.
· Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIEEM)
· Knowledge of biodiversity net gain
· Knowledgeable on environmental legislation and policies
· Highly organised, accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proactive, strategic and a multitasker
