The Student Professional Development Department (SPD) is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative recent Brunel graduate to join the Careers team.

Supporting the work and activities of Careers and the wider SPD team, this role can be as diverse as it can be demanding. You can expect a varied and interesting role, dealing with initial queries from students, providing administrative support to the team, organising appointments, writing content for social media / online newsletters and contributing to the co-ordination and delivery of marketing events. Working alongside the Careers Information Adviser, you will also contribute to developing and maintaining the online careers information service, actively promoting our services to all groups.

Notable student-focused projects, that previous Graduate Interns have supported, include Careers Fest and Graduation Week, student surveys, the Graduate Jobs Newsletter, flagship Employability Skills Projects (ie the READY Programme), the Brunel Plus Award and our SPD ‘Star’ Awards.

The successful candidate will be a recent Brunel graduate with a good understanding of higher education and graduate employability.

A confident communicator (written and spoken), you will enjoy working as part of a busy team, be highly organised and have strong attention to detail and administration/IT skills.

Creative, with an eye for detail, you will display a flexible, can-do approach and a willingness to get involved in all SPD activities.
