Mackinnon Bruce International (MBI) is seeking ambitious and driven Graduate Recruitment Consultants to join their growing Industrial and Life Sciences team in Leeds for a Summer 2025 start. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to launch a rewarding career in recruitment, working within a high-growth company that has expanded from a small Leeds-based firm to a well-established organization with offices in Manchester, Leeds, and Nottingham.

The role is a 360 recruitment position, meaning consultants will be responsible for managing their own desks, generating new client leads, negotiating contracts, and delivering effective recruitment solutions. The position is ideal for those with strong interpersonal skills, a competitive and entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for results-oriented work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a 360 recruitment desk including business development, client relations, and candidate placement.

• Generate leads and pitch to new clients while managing recruitment assignments end-to-end.

• Build and maintain strong industry relationships and develop an expert understanding of the market.

• Enhance personal branding through social platforms and direct outreach.

• Deliver client solutions via both candidate-led and business-led recruitment approaches.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate (or graduating in Summer 2025).

• Prior experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.

• Motivated, financially driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a performance-based environment.
