Description:

Pegasus Group’s 2026 Graduate Training Scheme offers graduates an opportunity to join the dynamic Planning team in Birmingham, working on a variety of projects for diverse clients. The role provides exposure to planning consultancy services, professional mentoring, and a supportive environment to develop skills in Town Planning/Urban Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Planning team on diverse projects and schemes.

  • Prepare, submit, and negotiate planning applications and statements.

  • Support public consultations and conduct site visits.

  • Provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities, and statutory bodies.

  • Gain broad experience across multiple sectors and client types.

  • Learn and develop professional skills through the Graduate Training Scheme.

Qualifications:

  • RTPI-accredited degree or similar relevant degree in Geography, Town Planning/Urban Planning, or Built Environment.

  • Logical and analytical approach.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to use initiative and think creatively.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn on the job.

  • Flexible and adaptable to different planning challenges.

  • Interest in sustainable and innovative planning solutions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have the right to work in the UK; student or Graduate Visas not accepted.
