Azets is offering an exciting opportunity for graduates to join their Audit & Assurance team in September 2026. As part of this graduate program, you’ll gain hands-on experience, professional training, and exposure to a wide range of clients across diverse industries. You’ll be supported from day one through structured learning, mentoring, and development opportunities, helping you build a solid foundation in auditing and financial assurance.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality audit services, supporting senior auditors and partners, and learning the full audit lifecycle from planning through to reporting. You will engage directly with clients to understand their businesses, analyse financial data, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in internal audit planning meetings to understand client operations and audit requirements.

  • Gain an understanding of clients’ business processes and internal controls to support audit strategy.

  • Perform detailed audit testing to provide assurance over financial statements.

  • Utilise audit software and tools to analyse client financial data and identify potential risks or discrepancies.

  • Review financial statements prepared by clients or the Azets team for accuracy and compliance.

  • Communicate effectively with clients through meetings, emails, and virtual discussions to resolve queries.

  • Track audit progress and ensure timely completion of audit engagements.

  • Escalate any discrepancies or inconsistencies to senior auditors or managers.

  • Work collaboratively with audit seniors, managers, and partners in a hybrid work setting involving both office and client-site work.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline.

  • Right to work in the UK from your start date.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Keen interest in developing a career within Audit & Assurance.

  • Willingness to pursue professional qualifications such as ACA (England & Wales) or ICAS (Scotland).
