Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand design requirements and project objectives.
  • Develop creative concepts, layouts, and designs for a variety of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, website banners, presentations, and other promotional materials.
  • Create visually appealing and on-brand designs that effectively communicate key messages and enhance the overall visual experience.
  • Use graphic design software and tools to create high-quality digital and print designs.
  • Ensure all designs are visually consistent and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality and creativity.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including the Sales team, content creators, and other stakeholders, to gather input and feedback and incorporate it into the design process.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Provide recommendations and creative solutions to enhance design concepts and optimise visual impact.
  • Prepare final designs for production, including preparing files for print and providing specifications as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a marketing or creative agency environment.
  • Proficient in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and schedulers and design requirements, but can be a learnt skillset whilst employed.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative and visually appealing designs.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
  • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to effectively present and explain design concepts and rationale.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
