Group Financial Controller

Description:

My client are a US based luxury fashion retail brand who are going through a period of rapid growth and change.
 

They are looking to appoint a high calibre Group FC to oversee the day to day running of the finance team whilst also helping to prepare the business for their upcoming IPO.
 

This individual will become a key member of the senior leadership team and you will take ownership of US GAAP, reporting and accounting whilst also ensuring regulatory compliance is in place. 
 

Description
 

• Leadership and participation in the monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring the accuracy of the US GAAP and statutory statements
• Continuously reviewing and improving processes with the team to ensure the processes are sustainable in regards to US GAAP and statutory financial statements
• Maintain internal controls and appropriate SOX controls are in support of the external audit requirements
• Oversee the end to end process of certain local accounting activities
• Overseeing the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy to US GAAP and statutory requirements

Profile
 

• ACA/ ACCA qualified
• Substantial US GAAP and US compliance exposure
• Experience working in a NASDAQ/ NYSE listed company
• Experience working in the E-commerce or luxury retail sector
• SEC experience is highly preferable
• IPO experience
