Growth Manager

 

Description:

As Growth Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving sustainable business growth by converting strategic opportunities, strengthening our agency’s market presence, and supporting the development of our sales pipeline. You’ll own the end-to-end sales journey—from prospecting and pitching through to closing—and be the bridge between marketing, delivery, and leadership to help shape how we sell in high-impact digital work.

This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded, confident communicator who is ready to take ownership of both revenue targets and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales
 

  • Own and manage the full sales cycle—from lead qualification through to signed contract
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations aligned with client goals and our capabilities
  • Organise pitch meetings and build trusted relationships with prospects
  • Maintain and grow a healthy, well-qualified sales pipeline
  • Lead sourcing
  • Managing inbound leads and qualifying
     

Revenue & Forecasting
 

  • Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Accurately forecast sales and report performance against targets
  • Use CRM to maintain accurate opportunity records
     

Marketing, Insight & Strategy
 

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform targeting strategy
  • Provide feedback from prospects to shape service development and positioning
  • Work with marketing to align lead generation efforts with target sectors (supporting networking, events, content production and feedback loop from prospects etc)
     

Collaboration & Process
 

  • Partner with Delivery, Strategy, and Creative teams to shape winning solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and playbooks
  • Support the onboarding of new clients with clear handovers to Delivery
     

Skills & Experience Required

Must-Have
 

  • 4+ years in a digital agency, or professional services sales or growth role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience writing and presenting compelling proposals and decks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling approach
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
     

Nice to Have
 

  • Experience selling digital services (e.g., web, performance, content, SEO)
  • Understanding of agency project delivery models and margin management
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Notion, Looker Studio, or similar
  • Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams
