Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hardware Engineer with a robust background in 4G/5G, IoT, and Cybersecurity. This role isn't for the faint-hearted. You will be a cornerstone in establishing our mini production line to produce field-based rugged tools. This is a unique opportunity to transition a proof-of-concept into a market-ready, groundbreaking product. hands on production and manufacturing experience will be required and gained from the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of hardware solutions with a focus on 4G/5G and IoT technologies.
- Collaborate with software teams to integrate Linux-based OSs and develop firmware solutions.
- Assist with the Software Developers in understanding native Software level code interaction to hardware libraries on occasion
- Drive product development processes from conceptualisation to production.
- Work closely with our start-up team in the establishment and operation of a mini production line.
- Stay updated with cybersecurity trends, ensuring our tools are at the cutting edge of security.
- Collaborate with cloud experts to ensure seamless IoT integration to cloud-based systems.
- Occasionally interface with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in 4G/5G, IoT, and Cybersecurity hardware design.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based OSs and firmware development.
- Prior experience or knowledge of Railway standards is a significant advantage.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Familiarity with cloud integrations for IoT technologies.
